# GitHub integration
> Save and version your project on GitHub.
You can **connect your project to a GitHub repository** by following three simple steps:
1. Click the ‘ **Connect**‘ button to connect the project to a repository.
2. Follow the three steps to complete the connection:
* **Authorize** Michelangelo.land to access your GitHub account.
* **Install** Michelangelo.land in your account.
* **Select the repository** where you want to save the project.
3. After connecting, each **change** will be **saved directly** to your repository. This feature allows you to always have access to your project's repository, keeping it versioned and secure.
You can also **download your app code** directly via the download icon button .
