# Sign In

> Sign in to Michelangelo iOS App

Michelangelo supports multiple sign-in methods through a secure authentication service. Choose the one that works best for you.

## Authentication Methods

### Email OTP

The default sign-in method:

1. Enter your email address.
2. Tap **Send OTP**.
3. Check your inbox for a 6-digit code.
4. Enter the code and tap **Validate OTP**.

<Info>
  The code is a one-time password. If you need to use a different email, tap **Back** and start again.
</Info>

### Apple Sign In

Tap the Apple button and authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or your Apple ID password. Michelangelo requests access to your **full name** and **email**.

### Google

Tap the Google button to start an OAuth session in a secure web browser. The session is completed automatically when you return to the app.

### GitHub

Tap the GitHub button to sign in via OAuth. This is the same account used by the <a href="/v2/michelangelo-app/github-integration">GitHub integration</a>, but you can also connect GitHub later from the editor.

## Session and Sign Out

After a successful sign-in, the app initializes your profile and shows the home screen. Your session is persisted across app restarts.

To sign out, open your profile and use the sign-out option. Signing out also clears notification preferences and the local cache.

## Troubleshooting

* **OTP not received** — check your spam folder and verify the email address.
* **OAuth loop** — make sure you are returning to the app from the browser after authorizing.
* **Apple Sign In fails** — ensure you are signed in to iCloud on your device.
