# Usage

> Track your creative activity, contributions, and AI usage in the Michelangelo iOS App

The **Usage** screen shows what Michelangelo made possible for you: how much you created, how consistently you build, and how much AI work went into your projects.

To open it:

1. Go to the **Settings** tab.
2. Under **Account**, tap **Usage**.

## Your Creative Power

The top section summarizes your total creative output:

* **Lines of code generated** — all the code Michelangelo wrote for you.
* **Code files created** — how many files that code lives in.
* **Current streak** — how many days in a row you have created. It stays alive as long as you created something today or yesterday.
* **Best streak** — your longest run of days in a row.
* **Most productive month** — the month where you created the most apps.
* **Most active hour** — the time of day when you usually create, shown in your local time.

Tap the info icon next to a metric to see its meaning directly in the app.

## Contributions

The contributions calendar shows your activity day by day:

* Each square is one day.
* The darker the square, the more you created that day.
* It covers the last 12 months.

## This Month

Your activity for a specific month:

* **Month / year selectors** — look back at any recent month.
* **Apps generated** — new apps you created that month.
* **AI generations** — how many times the AI worked for you that month, including edits to apps you already had.
* **Tokens used** — how much AI work went into your apps that month. Large numbers are shortened (for example, 1.2K or 3.4M).

  AI generations and tokens are available from **August 2026** onward. If there is nothing to show for a month, the app shows `—`.

## All Time

Your totals since you started using Michelangelo:

* **Apps generated** — all the apps you ever created.
* **AI generations** — all the times the AI worked for you.
* **Tokens used** — all the AI work behind your apps.

## Good to Know

* Creating a new app and asking the AI to improve an existing one count differently: the first grows your app count, the second grows your AI generations.
* Streaks, best month, and most active hour follow your local time.
* Your stats update automatically as you build — just reopen the app to see the latest.
